Rome Couture, 3rd edition
Under the silver sky of an evocative Capitoline moon, the Sala della Protomoteca in Campidoglio was lit up with light and style for the third edition of Roma Couture, a prestigious event conceived by Grazia Marino and Antonio Falanga, produced by Spazio Margutta and sponsored by the Assessorato ai Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo e Moda di Roma Capitale. In an atmosphere suspended between the sacredness of ancient artifacts and the flow of modernity, the event consecrated the revival of Rome’s sartorial vocation in front of more than two hundred exceptional guests, media and historical signatures of the sector journalism. Opening the catwalk, in a solemn tribute to the historical link with Valentino, was the iconic original archival red dress signed by Maestro Schuberth, the undisputed demiurge of the rebirth of Italian fashion. The brand’s priceless legacy came to life thanks to the artistic direction of Elena Perrella, capable of triggering a subtle and masterful dialogue between the structural rigor of yesteryear and contemporary lightness, where monumental fabrics, transparencies and embroideries redefined the boundaries of harmony. To complete a synaesthetic rite of pure poetry and memory, the air was imbued with the emotion released by the Maison’s exclusive fragrances , Schu, Coquillage and the beloved, enveloping Taffetas , olfactory hymns to rebirth, elegance and beauty understood as the perennial cultural renaissance of Made in Italy in the world.
